I love all of Lisa Black's books. She is a very gifted author. The only problem I have is not being able to put the book down. It is an excellent mystery and I would highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys a good mystery. Good book.

I like historical fiction so this was just my cup of tea. Not a super mind stumper and a bit too many clues, but well written and a very entertaining afternoon read.
Good read if you like murder mysteries
Good, but not as good as first book.
I have a hard time putting it down long enough to get household chores done. More than once I have read far into the night and found myself startled by outside noises. My favorite read is a book that keeps me just a little uneasy all the time I am reading it.
I thought with the story switching back and forth from present to past would be harder to follow and detract from the plot, but alas I was wrong. Lisa Black does a great job keeping together. I enjoyed this book.
Lisa Black takes you on a history trip and also
clears up horrendous murders of the 1930's!!
(at least in her mind)The modern murders follows
the 30's murders to a t. Well written and the thought
process that went into this book amazes me.
